Hi Friends! We are halfway through the week and that is always something to celebrate. The past few weeks have been a little crazy with Hurricane Harvey. We are so blessed that our home did not flood. Unfortunately, we did have a roof leak. The leak went through our attic and into our bedroom and bathroom. It wasn’t anything crazy but I can tell you dealing with Insurance companies is not a fun task. I feel so lucky that our damage was nothing compared to what other people endured. If you are still looking for ways to donate, JJ Watt organized a Houston Relief Fund which is a great to help out. If you would like to volunteer to help with homes that have been flooded, our church is organizing relief efforts. You can sign up here if you would like to volunteer. Mason volunteered this past weekend and just hearing what others experienced is heart breaking. We just feeling very blessed and are so thankful.
On a more positive note, Summer is starting to come to an end and I can’t wait for Fall! I know we don’t really get a Fall season in Houston but the temperatures do start to drop. That is something that I will never complain about in Texas. I am trying to soak up every last bit of Summer for my wardrobe’s sake. 😉 I love this palm print romper, I love rompers in general and this one is the cutest. It even has pockets which is one of my favorite things in dresses and rompers! I also found this romper in a navy color, which is just as cute. I was a little worried that since it was strapless that it might not stay in place but it stayed perfectly. I will definitely be squeezing in a few more wears out of this romper while it’s still hot (and while it still fits)! Thanks so much for reading!
