Hunter baby is seven months old! Well she turned 7 months a few weeks ago, oops! We are closer to her being a year than being born.. what in the world! She is such a chatterbox, she babbles and yells all the time! My favorite is when we rock her to sleep, she “sings”. When Hunter is super tired, and is fighting her sleep, she makes the funniest/sweetest noises. She sounds like a little baby dinosaur. Every time I rock her to sleep, I wish I were recording it. One night, I’m going to record her because I never want to forget her sweet little sounds.
We officially have a crawler on our hands! She was scooting and hadn’t quite figured out how to crawl when she turned seven months. BUT since I’m writing this post late, she now has started crawling!! Hunter so badly wants to walk. She tried to stand before she crawls but obviously can’t stand yet so she settles for crawling. It’s the cutest thing to watch! She loves to grab onto Mason or I and pull herself up to stand. She is so strong and I think she will be walking in no time! I am sooo not ready for that!
As I said earlier, Hunter babbles nonstop! Sometimes I really think I hear her saying “Mom” and “Mama”. I’m not fully convinced that’s what she’s saying but it REALLY sounds like it! Mason has heard it too so I know it’s not just me being hopeful. Were working on trying to say “Mama” and “Dada”, fingers crossed she says Mama first!
Hunter is a little bit of a picky eater. We are forcing her to try all the veggies and fruits but veggies are definitely not her favorite. If Hunter had it her way, every meal would be bananas and mama milk. She is getting better with veggies though! She used to literally spit them back out on you. Meal time is so fun though! She gets so mad if you’re not feeding her quick enough! She is a feisty little thing! She is especially feisty in the middle of the night when she decides she doesn’t want to sleep. I miss the days of having a good sleeper because that is definitely one thing Hunter is not lately. She wakes up 3-5 times a night and demands a bottle every single time. I really hope that she is just going through a growth spurt or is just teething. For my sanity, I need my good little sleeper back!
