Eleven Months with Hunter

If you’re thinking you missed a tenth month post,  you definitely aren’t wrong, I never posted one 🙃I kept telling myself that I would do it tomorrow but guess what? Tomorrow never came so here I am a week late with her Eleven Month update! Mommy blogger of the year over here! Anyways, on to the good stuff!! How in the world is Hunter 11 months old? It has been the quickest (almost) year of my life but by the far the sweetest.

Hunter is walking EVERYWHERE!!! She wants to walk all the time. She still loves to be held but only when she wants, of course! When she doesn’t want to be held, we are chasing her around everywhere because she is so fast. She tries to run instead of walk most of the time and her legs just can’t quite keep up. It’s so fun to watch her walking everywhere and it really wears her out! She is exhausted by the end of the day, as am I! I love seeing her get more confident everyday with her walking. One of her favorite things to do is when we are downstairs, is RUN straight to the stairs. She can climb all the way to the top (with us right behind of course) and she loves to climb! She tries to climb anything and everything she can. She will be standing on the floor and I’m sitting next to her and she will literally try to climb my body. She’s crazy!

She has discovered the joys of Disney and is obsessed with Frozen!! The first time we put it on for her, she actually sat still on the couch and watched the entire movie. It was the strangest thing ever because she is never still!!! I guess, she just loved it that much! She actually danced to the songs. Hunter absolutely LOVES to dance and it’s the cutest thing ever. She will bounce up and down and wave her arms in the air, I LOVE it!! So now we basically watch Frozen at least once a day but it’s okay because I love it too. We have tried playing other Disney movies for her and she has had absolutely no interest in them, go figure.

Hunter is not a picky eater at all but she does demand to feed herself. She doesn’t want to be spoon fed, she wants to do it with her hands! I say she’s not picky but she doesn’t like baby food, so she usually just eats some variation of what Mason and I are eating. She will tear up a pancake or waffle, like absolutely devour it. She is such a good eater and loves to eat pretty much anything! She loves pasta, just like her mama! I’m so glad she is not picky, but I will say she definitely didn’t get that from me. I can’t wait to watch her tear apart her birthday cake!!

I’ve been planning Hunter’s first birthday party and I’m in denial about it. How is my baby almost a year old?! 😫I’m nowhere close to being ready for her party but I’ll get there eventually! Thank you for loving our sweet girl and for following along!
