So excited for the Nordstrom Anniversary sale because it’s basically Christmas in July!!! I obviously will be limited as to what I can purchase for myself this year because of my growing baby bump but am going to share everything that I can with y’all! I just wanted to give y’all some of the details so that you can be prepared to shop your booty off.
What is it?
The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is one of the best sales of the year! New merchandise is released at discounted prices. It’s a great way to stock up on new Fall and Winter merchandise at super sale prices.
When is it?
- July 9 – icon level cardholders get to shop the sale in the store.
- July 10 & 11 – icon and ambassador level cardholders shop in store.
- July 11 at 12:30 pm ET – icon and ambassador level cardholders are able to pre-shop online.
- July 12 – known as the “Early Access Sale”. All Nordstrom cardholders are able to shop the sale before it opens to the public. Cardholders get the first pick of any items and sometimes they sell out super quick!! You can still apply to be a cardholder here, and you’ll be able to shop the sale early!
- July 19 – The sale is finally open to the public and anyone can shop!
- August 5 – Last day of the sale and prices go back up.
How can I shop it?
You can shop the sale both online and in stores. I prefer to shop online because you will have more options and won’t have to bustle through any crowds! If you find something that you want to purchase, get it right away. Items can sell out quickly and you don’t want to miss out on an amazing sale item. Nordstrom offers free returns so if you are shopping online and something doesn’t fit, it’s so easy to return with Nordstrom. Free shipping and free returns!
Tips for shopping?
- If you want an item, buy it!!! Like I said, if it doesn’t work out, you can always return it with no penalty but you’ll be kicking yourself if it sells out before you have a chance to get it.
- Do NOT overspend! Yes the sale is great but do not over extend yourself just because everyone is telling you that you NEED something. Try to make a list of items that you really do need/want like booties, work clothes, basic tees and stick to it!
