Mason and I got out for a day date a few weeks ago and had the best time. It’s sometimes hard to find time to ourselves with three little ones. It definitely makes you appreciate any alone time you get with each other! We went out to eat at one of our favorite sushi places and enjoyed just hanging out together.
I think it’s so important to go on little dates with your spouse just to get some time together. Sometimes, we even have dates at home after the kids go to bed. We usually will wait to eat dinner and get the kids to bed and then one of us will go pick up food. It’s a fun way to enjoy a date night but not having to have anyone watch the kids. We are so lucky that both of our parents are close by so we are able to get time out but if you don’t have anyone to watch the little ones, date nights at home are perfect.
When we have date nights, we make a conscious effort to make them phone free so we truly get to enjoy our time together! It can be so easy to just caught up in your children but make sure to make time for your relationship as well! 🥰 I picked a cute little dress from Revolve for our date, super flattering and I loved the details.
