Hunter’s Second Birthday

It’s hard to believe my baby girl is 2!! We celebrated our girl in the best way we know how, a mermaid birthday party! The theme was her choice, of course. Hunter loves mermaids so I was not surprised one bit. We had so much fun with friends and family celebrating our sweet girl. We hosted the party at our house and I had the best time planning all the decorations. Party planning is something that I really enjoy and I always turn to Pinterest for some inspiration.

I created the biggest balloon garland that I’ve ever done for her party. I actually started two days before her birthday so I wouldn’t be up too late the night before. I really love making balloon garlands and they’re actually pretty easy to make once you get the hang on it! Almost all of the balloons for the garland were from Shindigz! They have a huge selection of sizes and colors!

When Hunter decided on a mermaid themed party, I knew I had to check out Shindigz for decorations! We got a bunch of her first birthday party decorations from here as well. They have a ton of mermaid party decorations. We personalized a photo backdrop to go behind her cake and I love how it turned out! Everything was more than I had imagined and Hunter was so excited when she woke up and saw everything! When she woke up on her birthday, she came out and kept saying, “FOR ME?! For my party!!” It was the sweetest!

We had so much fun spending time with our loved ones celebrating Hunter!! She truly had the most magical day and that is the best feeling. Thanks so much for reading!
